Brought my laptop to office today, under the same network, I can successfully connect to office desktop using exact same laptop. wont start or the server is not responding to. This will be your permanent ID outside of the RDP Scope. Remote computer at office shows online but when being connected from home using laptop it turns out to be authentication rejected. If this keeps happening, ask your admin or tech support for help. Once that is finished you can log out of the RDP and then log in with the new TeamViewer ID. To connect to the correct ID note it down and then cancel the remote reboot. When you tell the server to remote reboot it gives you the prompt that “Multi User View Mode is enabled” and that logging on again will require you to log in with the new ID XXX XXX XXX. The Remote Desktop Session through RDP has a different TeamViewer ID than the standard service running. This is when I stumbled on the answer to the problem. The issue is about the version of Teamiewer.Īl-jo posted in th eabove that he has a working project (7 based) with *some* version of TeamViewer actually working.įor a number of reasons that are irrelevant here, al-jo has always issues with hosting projects and keeps *bouncing* them projects here and thereīut have NO idea if it contains Teamviewer and/or if the corresponding Windows 8 based project, currently here:Īctually has it, but they would be first thing I would try, if I were you.
